This Sunday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Inter Miami at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the Round of 8 of the 2025 Club World Cup (kick-off 9pm CET, broadcast on DAZN). This Wednesday, Le Parisien reported that Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old striker) should be able to make his return.
““He’s ready to play”: Paris eagerly awaits Ousmane Dembélé’s return against Miami”
This is excellent news, as it’s obviously an important reinforcement for PSG. Even if they have a fine team and the ability to beat Inter Miami (as well as many other teams) without Dembélé, it’s a significant plus. Not to mention that, in any case, it’s an extra option when it comes to managing the squad to avoid overloading any one player.
We’re now waiting to see exactly how much playing time Dembélé will get after his muscular injury. A start does not seem impossible, but it is far from a foregone conclusion.
