Paris Saint-Germain has strengthened its youth academy with the addition of Oumar Sissoko, often called Bachou. The 38-year-old goalkeeper, who has 29 caps for Mali, currently plays for Montreuil FC in the Régional 1 league and is the goalkeeping coach for Mali’s U23 team. He will also coach the Paris Saint-Germain youth goalkeepers.

“Oumar Sissoko, nicknamed Bachou, a former Malian international, joins the Paris Saint-Germain youth academy staff as goalkeeping coach.”
Alongside this new role, he continues his playing career with Montreuil FC (R1) and also serves as goalkeeping coach for the Malian U23 national team.
This appointment is one that we, the people of Montreuil, wanted to highlight, given his current commitment to the club and the significance of this step in his career.”
This is excellent news for Sissoko, offering yet another exciting challenge in his career. We imagine it’s also a moment of joy in Montreuil, with their goalkeeper joining one of the world’s best. We can only welcome the former Malian international and wish him a wonderful adventure at PSG.
