With the clash with Liverpool just a few days away, Paris Saint-Germain hosted LOSC on the 24th day of Ligue 1. And it was a high-intensity match for the Rouge et Bleu as they scored 4 goals in the first half, before starting to manage the game, all the while coming up against an in-form goalkeeper (4-1, PSG/Lille video highlights). Jonathan David, the Dogues’ only scorer of the evening, spoke to DAZN about the match.
David: “Paris is a great team”.
Complicated match? How do you feel about the match?
Frustrated, disappointed. I think we wanted to give a better account of ourselves, but it was a complicated game and Paris is a great team. In the second half we tried to show a better side and I think we did. We tried to do the best we could.
What can this team build on ahead of Dortmund?
On what we showed in the second half, that we can press, that we can find gaps, before being in a position to score.
