This Sunday, as part of the 15th day of Ligue 1 2024-2025, Paris Saint-Germain faced Olympique Lyonnais at the Parc des Princes. After a match in which the Rouge et Bleu dominated and then managed to win 3-1 (PSG/Lyon video summary). Here are our notes on the Parisians.

Contents
Goalkeeper –Defenders –Midfielders –Forwards –Coach –

Goalkeeper –

Gianluigi Donnarumma (5) – A complicated goal to stop. His first half could have been better, although he didn’t have to work too hard.

Defenders –

Achraf Hakimi (5) – Less conspicuous than usual on the pitch in the first half, but still made the effort.

Willian Pacho (6) – Clearly not as strong as at the start of the season. Still, he made a big impact and generally did what was needed in the first half.

Lucas Beraldo (4) – Defensively, he did what he had to do, but it was in the restart that he was wasteful, which is a problem given that this is his quality. Replaced by Marquinhos in the 64th minute.

Nuno Mendes (6) – A good first half, with a lot of climbing and impact. Replaced by Lucas Hernandez in the 64th minute.

Midfielders –

Joao Neves (6) – A little bull in midfield, he just needs to be more precise offensively.

Vitinha (6) – Scorer of a penalty, he’s still a distributor of the game, but he’s less confident and less impactful offensively.

Warren Zaïre-Emery (6) – A fine first half, with impact, desire and good ball control.

Forwards –

Ousmane Dembélé (6.5) – A fine goal, but he created fewer chances on the pitch. He also tried less, probably due to his more axial positioning, and touched fewer balls. Replaced by Fabian Ruiz in the 86th minute.

Désiré Doué (8) – A great first half for him, first as a passer, then as a dribbler for the penalty, he hurt OL. He also defended well, sometimes even too aggressively. A big game for him. Replaced in the 83rd minute by Gonçalo Ramos.

Lee Kang-in (4) – As good as he is when he’s on the ball, he’s been doing the same thing for the last few games: he dives into the middle of the park to get in behind. He lacks the speed and ability to get past his opposite number. Replaced by Bradley Barcola in the 64th minute.

Coach –

Luis Enrique (6) – Strong choices, Barcola, Ramos, Marquinhos on the bench. A reshuffled attack, without a real number 9, he was right for around 30 minutes. After that, things got complicated in the first half. His team came under control in the second half, and his changes brought calm.
