Having arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2018, Marc Armstrong is set to embark on a new challenge very soon. The current revenue director is reported by The Athletic as being very close to Manchester United, with a slightly different role.

“ManUnited has reached a (lucrative) agreement to recruit Marc Armstrong. The English club is set to appoint Marc Armstrong as Commercial Director.”

It’s not impossible, but it does happen that managers change clubs in order to embark on something new. Even if it may seem a little “strange” to leave PSG, which seems to be on the right track for its project. But there are many parameters to such a decision, and of course we don’t have all the facts.

We’re now waiting to see if this decision takes shape, although Marc Armstrong’s departure was already mentioned in the French press at the start of the season. No mention has yet been made of his potential replacement in Paris. It’s a very important part of the project, even if it’s much more behind the scenes than close to home or on the pitch.
