This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain take on Real Madrid at MetLife Stadium in New York in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup (kick-off 9pm French time, broadcast on DAZN). Following Tuesday’s training session, RMC Sport has put forward a likely PSG line-up, and we’re back to what the press reported. It includes Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old striker).
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Beraldo – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Donnarumma.
It’s still not enough to be certain, since we’ve already seen all the media get coach Luis Enrique’s choices wrong. Not on the whole composition, of course. Here, it’s hard to imagine another defense with Lucas Hernandez (29) and Willian Pacho (23) suspended.
There may be some doubts in midfield and attack, with the management of organisms and perhaps the confidence of some. A bit of rotation wouldn’t be a surprise. There’s also the uncertainty surrounding the starting berth of Ousmane Dembélé (28), who would be the first time in this competition following his muscular injury in the French national team. Finally, there’s a choice on the right. Bradley Barcola (22) is benched, as he was in the Champions League final, but it seems possible that he will start.
