The first signs of activity are emerging at Paris Saint-Germain. According to a video shared by MegaPSG, Matvey Safonov—PSG’s 27-year-old Russian goalkeeper—has already resumed individual training. The two-time European champion is preparing ahead of the scheduled return to group training at the PSG Campus.
This individual training marks the quiet start of the 2026-2027 season for the Parisian club. PSG players are expected at the Campus on Monday, July 27, nearly two months after their second consecutive Champions League victory.
Safonov is among the first players reported to be back in action. The Russian goalkeeper can now get straight to work preparing for the new season, during which the competition for the starting spot in goal will be particularly interesting to watch.
