A potential future Paris Saint-Germain home kit for the 2027-2028 season is already circulating. The image shared by Footy Headlines, presents a blue design featuring a wide red and white stripe. It is a very early leak that naturally calls for caution.

Visually, it is hard not to immediately recognize PSG’s classic hallmarks: blue, a central red stripe framed in white, and an aesthetic strongly reminiscent of the “Hechter” jersey. In principle, the concept is familiar territory and should easily appeal to fans attached to this identity.
However, the speculative nature of the news matters almost as much as the design itself at this stage. It is October 2026, and there is already talk of a kit intended for the 2027-2028 season. The image being shared indicates a likely direction, not necessarily the final product that will hit the shelves in several months.
It is also important to distinguish between design details and an official photograph of the actual jersey. Between initial reports, prototypes, renderings based on them, and the version ultimately sold, certain details can change. In other words, while it offers an interesting glimpse of the direction being taken, it is far too early to pass final judgment on the result.
That said, if this lead proves accurate, PSG would be returning to a highly recognizable look. After years of Nike frequently experimenting with the width, position, or even the presence of the central stripe, seeing a jersey so directly linked to the Parisian colors would be significant. Of course, that depends on the leak being correct; with the expected release still nearly a year away, the design could still end up being scrapped. Nevertheless, the design is distinctive and could well spark considerable debate.
