The 2025 summer transfer window is now underway, and will run until September 1st at 8 p.m. in France, so rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, Foot Mercato is announcing the possible signing of Khalil Ayari, a 20-year-old left-footed attacking midfielder/winger from Tunisia and Stade Tunisien. The latter has reportedly already impressed during trials with the Under-23 squad, but his arrival is not yet finalized. There is, in particular, some competition.

While the Strasbourg and Brest prospects have cooled considerably, Nice and Rennes are also in the running, as are FC Basel, Sion, and a top-flight Portuguese club whose name has not been disclosed.
Ayari’s trials are certain, and they were clearly very convincing. Luis Campos, the football advisor, was able to attend and appreciate the young Tunisian’s profile. The Portuguese is particularly renowned for his ability to spot great talent. Now, they need to find a good project for the player and convince him, while a professional spot may be more accessible at other clubs.
