This is the continuation of the saga: a summary of the latest news regarding the Paris Saint-Germain transfer window. This includes a look at the last 24 hours (published early this morning) to cover what’s happening and what’s not, what’s progressing and what’s surprising. Today, we’re talking about Nordi Mukiele.
It’s official:
Nordi Mukiele to Sunderland!
The rumor only surfaced very recently, but it’s already settled. And we like things to be this fast-moving, without dozens of statements. The 27-year-old defender has officially left PSG for Sunderland, promoted to the Premier League this season. This transfer is estimated in the media to be around €13 million, including bonuses.
Opinion on the transfer:
It’s a rather nice exit for a player who no longer had a place in Paris. Initially hampered by injuries, he failed to convince coach Luis Enrique upon his arrival in 2023. On loan to Bayer Leverkusen last season, the defender was able to bounce back a bit and thus find this arrival in the Premier League a great challenge. From the Parisian perspective, this is a significant sale, and the sum is very reasonable for a defender whose time in Paris will remain a failure and who arrived for €12 million.
