Randal Kolo Muani, the 27-year-old French national team forward who had been struggling at Paris Saint-Germain (under contract until 2028), was loaned to Tottenham for the 2025-2026 season without an option to buy, after a deal with Juventus (where he had been on loan from January to June 2026) proved impossible. His future is now uncertain. Negotiations between PSG and the Italian club remain highly complex. Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport reported this Sunday that Juve is exploring an alternative option.
Tuttosport:
The French forward has relayed Juventus’s offer to his club, but Turin is unwilling to go as high as a €40 million bid. That figure—or a similar amount—could potentially be reached through variable elements, such as bonuses tied to qualifying for the next Champions League. The two clubs are also discussing specific details, but the main issue lies in their differing views on the transfer fee.
Luis Campos, confident in his ability to sell Kolo Muani, is demanding at least €45 million. Borussia Dortmund, for instance, is showing keen interest in the forward—born in 1998—who is returning from an unsuccessful loan spell at Tottenham.
Corriere dello Sport:
“It is not just a matter of priorities. At this stage of the transfer window, Continassa is also exploring other opportunities, with the name of Brazilian player Richarlison standing out among them.
Juve is continuing talks with Kolo Muani, who remains determined to return to Italy to wear the Bianconero jersey. Financially, a gap remains between the offer and the €50 million asking price, though rumors suggest a slight increase—particularly regarding bonuses and a sell-on clause.
This saga has seen constant twists and turns for over a year now. The situation evokes a mix of absurdity, fatigue, and concern. Just a few days ago, the Italian press reported on a final offer from Juventus intended to seal a deal with PSG. Now, however, the gap is too wide, and an alternative option is being considered.”
These are claims we have seen recently, albeit with slightly different figures and names (such as Alexander Sorloth). Yet, there is nothing concrete—not the slightest confirmation. Aside from Juventus indicating early in the window that there was interest and an attempt to negotiate, there has been nothing since—no signs of optimism or a definitive deadlock. It is exactly like the 2025 summer transfer window.
Ideally, the media would simply remain calm and wait for genuine developments rather than fueling a saga based on little to nothing. A clear stance from both Juventus and PSG is also needed. If a deal is impossible, it is time to move on—especially for the Italian club, which should certainly be able to find another striker of interest.
As for Paris and Kolo Muani, another offer needs to materialize. There have been a few rumors, but nothing certain. That is where the concern lies: the player could find himself somewhat stuck, even if we haven’t reached that point just yet. We saw last summer that a solution can emerge quickly.
