On Wednesday at the Puskás Arena in Budapest, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal on penalties (1-1 in regulation time, 4-3 on penalties) in the 2025-2026 Champions League final. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. João Neves (21-year-old midfielder) won.

A great victory for a player who was once again invaluable thanks to his impressive work rate, in addition to his technical ability and tenacity in duels. In this very tight match, it wasn’t easy to single out a standout player. But Neves made himself available and put in a tremendous defensive shift. The scores behind him are very close, which is understandable for a team that didn’t play poorly but didn’t exactly shine either.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the podium of each match is then used for the election of the player of the month.
