Luis Enrique, coach of Paris Saint-Germain, held a press conference this Friday ahead of facing Arsenal at the Puskas Arena in Budapest tomorrow (kick-off at 6pm, CET) in the 2025-2026 Champions League final. On the sidelines of this event, the Spaniard also spoke to PSG TV.
Luis Enrique: “We’ve shown over the last three years that we’re a team that knows how to prepare for finals.”
What are your feelings before the final?
It’s a beautiful city, a beautiful stadium that I don’t know. I can imagine our fans being there. And otherwise, there’s nothing new. I think we’ve shown over the last three years that we’re a team that knows how to prepare for finals. Today is the last training session of the season with the club. We’re going to try to enjoy this session. Then, tomorrow, we know that all of Paris will be there and that many fans are supporting us around the world. We’re going to try to play at our best.
Luis Enrique: “Our team is resilient and knows how to overcome problems.”
What are the keys to the final?
It’s difficult to know what the keys will be. It’s clear that the differences are small. There are small details, that we can imagine or not. But our team is resilient and knows how to overcome problems. She can act in any scenario. We want to play without fear and enjoy ourselves.
