This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Arsenal at the Puskás Arena in Budapest in the 2025-2026 Champions League final (kick-off at 6 p.m., CET). This Thursday, L’Equipe published a likely PSG lineup.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Ruiz – Vitinha – Neves
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov
A perfectly credible lineup, with only a very slight doubt. It revolves around Warren Zaïre-Emery, the 20-year-old midfielder who is having a very good season. But he faces the return to form of Fabian Ruiz (30 years old), who remains more creative and a master of tempo. These are valuable weapons against an Arsenal side that is difficult to break down.
At right-back, Achraf Hakimi (27 years old) is expected to be ready. He’s one of the best in the world in his position (perhaps even the number one), making it difficult to take his place. Even though Zaïre-Emery has been effective in this role, he remains a less attacking option. PSG could well need Hakimi’s runs and decisive passes to turn the game around. Starting the young Parisian isn’t impossible, but it’s not really likely.
