Paris Saint-Germain (6th) head coach Luis Enrique spoke at a press conference this Friday ahead of tomorrow’s match against Le Mans (9th) at the Parc des Princes (kick-off at 8:45 PM, CET), part of Matchday 6 of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season. Alongside the press conference, the Spaniard also spoke to PSG TV.

Are the players happy to be back together after the break?
International players are constantly focused; they’ve returned to the Campus—to the family. We aim to stay focused; we need to. They played four matches—that’s the schedule. Playing for the national team is exciting.
How is the return to training going?
The first thing we do is train in the afternoon. That way, the players can arrive on the day itself. We get the players back gradually. Yesterday, everyone who is set to play tomorrow was there. It was a different kind of international break because it was so long. We need to reconnect—that’s what we’re aiming to do. They’re in good shape.

Is the goal to win again tomorrow?
It’s a unique situation, too; at this stage of the competition, we’ve only played one match at the Parc des Princes. And we’ve already played 25% of our games away from home! We miss the Parc des Princes. We’re happy to reconnect with the fans.
