It’s no big surprise, as Barcola scored twice with some very fine goals. This is all the more remarkable given that it was the only goal in a match in which he was the most prominent striker. Vitinha (25-year-old midfielder) was still a strong contender, as he dominated the midfield. And he provided the assist for every goal.
It’s difficult, however, to complete the top three. The team was quite impressive, but there were a few hiccups that somewhat tarnished Paris’s performance. Achraf Hakimi (26-year-old right-back) isn’t a “shocking” choice, but we’ve seen him in much better form.
