This Sunday, on Matchday 4 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season, Paris Saint-Germain faced Lens at the Parc des Princes. After a match where the Red and Blue dominated without being perfect, they won 2-0. Here are our ratings for the Parisians.
Goalkeeper –
Lucas Chevalier (6) – A slight miscue with Lucas Beraldo early in the match, but he recovered well and was solid in the necessary interventions.
Defenders –
Achraf Hakimi (5) – He didn’t really miss, except that he was much less “superior” than usual. A mixed performance for the Moroccan.
Ilya Zabarnyi (6.5) – A few minor errors, but also many duels won by the Ukrainian.
Lucas Beraldo (6) – Excellent clearances, as always, some good defensive interventions, and sometimes difficulties in duels. An ankle injury, unfortunately. Replaced in the 71st minute by Nuno Mendes.
Lucas Hernandez (5) – Struggled with some dribbles and not really a great offensive asset. He still has his determination and composure.
Midfielders –
Warren Zaïre-Emery (7) – The 19-year-old midfielder has made an impact in midfield, particularly when recovering. Although we’d still like to see a bit more of him offensively. Replaced in the 71st minute by João Neves.
Vitinha (8) – He’s the conductor in midfield and provides two assists for Bradley Barcola. He makes a few mistakes in his attacking choices, however, with shots that are easily blocked.
Lee Kang-In (6) – Relatively interesting, especially in the second half. He came off with an ankle injury. Replaced in the 57th minute by Senny Mayulu.
Forwards –
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Not Rated) – He had to come off after a nasty knock to the calf, replaced in the 29th minute by Ibrahim Mbaye (4.5). He had some good shots, but the young striker’s finishing needs work.
Gonçalo Ramos (4) – He had some good ideas at times; he wasn’t that far off the mark. But he also lacked a bit of accuracy and explosiveness. We hope more playing time will do him good.
Bradley Barcola (8) – He was PSG’s attacking catalyst and scored a very nice brace. Replaced in the 71st minute by Fabian Ruiz.
Coach –
Luis Enrique (8) – The choices always seemed consistent, his team dominated and won without any real hiccups despite three injuries. You have to appreciate the strength of this unflappable team.
