Ousmane Dembélé, the 28-year-old Paris Saint-Germain striker, spoke to beIN SPORTS after the 3-0 victory against Lille this Friday at the Parc des Princes, in the 18th round of Ligue 1 2025-2026. He notably discussed his wonderful goal to make it 2-0, admitting that he had made a mistake at the start of the move.
Dembélé: “I slightly miscontrolled the ball.”
This goal was more than exceptional, how did you experience it?
Very well, first of all, I wanted to shoot first time, but I slightly miscontrolled the ball and saw the defender coming towards me, so I tried to get onto my left foot. I saw the goalkeeper off his line, I took a chance, and it worked.
Where does this one rank among your best goals?
I don’t know, there are a few that are nice, but this one isn’t bad.

Very good. After a first half of the season where I had a few injuries, it’s been a blessing in disguise for me. I’m 100% fit for this second half of the season.
