This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain faces Liverpool at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their 2025-2026 Champions League quarter-final (the second leg is on April 14th). Kick-off is at 9 pm, CET. On Tuesday evening, Le Parisien published a likely PSG starting lineup.
Kvaratskhelia – Dembélé – Doué
Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery
Mendes – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi
Safonov.
This is a perfectly credible lineup, but we must remain cautious since coach Luis Enrique doesn’t give any information to the media. We have to try and guess his choices, given the immense competition and the need for versatility. Even if a “starting eleven” is emerging in the Champions League, where no rotation is expected.
There are therefore some choices that seem quite certain, such as the defense. But there are still options in midfield and attack. We will therefore wait for the official announcement, about 1 hour before the match, in order to have certainty.
