What can be said about PSG’s match against Liverpool, except that the players once again demonstrated their grit and skill? By covering the pitch as they know how, and by being patient as Luis Enrique demands, they allowed all the players to shine. Kvaratskhelia, in particular, was outstanding. But the entire team played their part. We’ll obviously overlook the “5” rating given to Vitinha by L’Equipe, surely a mistake given how well the Portuguese controlled the game and provided reassurance once again. He allowed his team to feel less pressure.
