On Sunday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Olympique de Marseille 5-0 in Matchday 21 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward) won.

This victory was hardly surprising for Dembélé, given his outstanding performance in Le Classique. He scored twice and provided a superb assist for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24-year-old forward), but his tireless work rate and aggressive pressing were also noteworthy. The Parisian number 10 seems to be back in top form, and we can only hope he continues this form.
In this vote, Nuno Mendes (23-year-old left-back) was able to challenge him somewhat thanks to an extraordinary performance. He stifled Marseille’s attacks and created a multitude of chances, both with his dribbling and passing. Not to mention the assist for the first goal.
Defensively, despite a strong team performance (which is the most important thing), there were only scraps to share. João Neves (the 21-year-old midfielder) made a strong impression with his impressive work rate. Matvey Safonov (the 26-year-old goalkeeper) did well in his role, even if we weren’t necessarily expecting votes given PSG’s dominance.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three finishers from each match are then used to determine the Player of the Month.
