L’Equipe :

Barcola (7) – Dembélé (9) – Doué (7)
Mayulu (6) – Vitinha (6) – Neves (7)
Nuno Mendes (8) – Pacho (6) – Marquinhos (7) – Zaïre-Emery (6)
Safonov (6)
Dembélé brought out his finest attire. He seemed fully recovered from his injury apprehension, and his constant pressing made the difference, as did his two goals, especially the second, which he scored with considerable confidence. Man of the Match, he could also have shared the honor with Nuno Mendes, who is becoming a true “monster” with every match.
The Portuguese player surely deserved a higher rating, but it’s worth noting that his performance was simply excellent. No player should have finished with a 6/10 rating, given the overall completeness of the team’s performance. Neves was inspired, Marquinhos was determined, and Pacho continues to demonstrate his quiet strength against every opponent. A complete performance.
