On Friday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain defeated Toulouse 3-1 in the first match of Matchday 28 of the 2025-2026 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game. Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward) won.

There were several possible choices after this convincing team performance, but Dembélé’s victory was a fair reflection of the game after his brace, including a sublime opening goal. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (25-year-old forward) was also impressive, winning all 13 of his duels and creating several chances, not to mention his headed assist for Dembélé’s second goal. His performance was a bit lacking, however, and could have been closer to securing the win.
Behind him, Warren Zaïre-Emery (20-year-old midfielder) confirmed with his 37th consecutive start for PSG that he is back in top form. Lucas Beraldo (22-year-old defender…and midfielder?) wasn’t far from the podium with another impressive performance in midfield. This evolution, initiated by coach Luis Enrique, still needs to be confirmed in a tougher match, but it is already very encouraging. The Brazilian is comfortable in the game, and his lack of pace is less noticeable since he is well-marked.
Thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three finishers from each match are then used to determine the Player of the Month.
