On Saturday at the Parc des Princes, Paris Saint-Germain secured a 1-0 victory over Troyes during the 10th matchday of the 2026-2027 Ligue 1 season. As we now do after every match, we asked our readers to vote for the best PSG player of the game—and Warren Zaïre-Emery (the 20-year-old midfielder) came out on top.

It was a fine performance from Zaïre-Emery, who once again demonstrated his adaptability by playing as a right-back. He was particularly impressive defensively, while also contributing to the attack at times; the homegrown talent even came close to scoring. In a match where PSG—while remaining professional—were perhaps a bit less creative and clinical than they have been recently, this was enough to claim the top spot.
He finished ahead of goalscorer Ilya Zabarnyi (the 24-year-old defender) and provider Senny Mayulu (the 20-year-old midfielder)—a result that comes as a slight surprise, especially regarding the latter, whom many might have expected to rank higher. Meanwhile, Fabian Ruiz (the 30-year-old midfielder) once again played a key role and fully earned his place on the podium, though one could also have imagined Vitinha (the 26-year-old midfielder) featuring further up the list.
In any case, thank you for your votes. As a reminder, the top three players from each match contribute to the selection process for our “Player of the Month” award.
