Following Paris Saint-Germain’s matches in September—and continuing our established practice of using the “Man of the Match” podium rankings—we asked fans to vote for the “Player of the Month.” Désiré Doué (a 21-year-old midfielder/forward) came out on top.

PSG Player of the Month for September:
It is a well-deserved and unsurprising win, given how decisive Torres was throughout September. The Spaniard was the player who consistently found the back of the net while others struggled with efficiency. Two defenders round out the top three behind him.
Notably, Marquinhos (the 32-year-old captain) scored goals, including one against Marseille. As for Nuno Mendes (the 24-year-old left-back), he was impressive upon his return from suspension—an absence that had clearly hurt the team, given his exceptional ability to drive forward with the ball.
