At the end of each Paris Saint-Germain match in November, as we now always do (based on the podiums for each match), we asked people to vote for the “Player of the Month”. João Neves (20-year-old midfielder) came out on top.
As a reminder, the matches in November were:
PSG/Lens (1-0), PSG/Atlético Madrid (1-2), Angers/PSG (2-4), PSG/Toulouse (3-0), Bayern Munich/PSG (1-0), PSG/Nantes (1-1).
This is the 3rd time in a row that Neves has won the Player of the Month award, further confirming his place among PSG’s excellent recruits. Of course, he still needs to grow up, fine-tune his game and gain a little more accuracy in the finishing area. But what he has achieved, at the age of 20 and with a new club, is already impressive. We can only wish him all the best for the future.
We’d also like him to have a little more competition for these votes, as Parisians who have enjoyed a fine month of November are all too rare.
We’d like to thank you for your votes, and we’d like to point out that the podium finishes for these “Player of the Month” awards will be used for the title of best player of the season, as you’ll need to have been on the podium at least 1 time to be among the nominees.
