Paris Saint-Germain won the 2025-2026 Champions League final against Arsenal on Saturday at the Puskás Arena in Budapest. After this penalty shootout victory (1-1, then 4-3 on penalties), PSG secured their place in football history. They also received an additional bonus from UEFA, bringing their total earnings for this European campaign to nearly €150 million. RMC Sport provides a detailed breakdown of this amount.

“What does this €149.9 million represent?

Participation: approximately €18.62 million

Group stage performance: approximately €18.7 million

Play-off qualification: €1 million

Round of 16 qualification: €11 million

Quarter-final qualification: €12.5 million

Semi-final qualification: €15 million

Final qualification: €18.5 million

Ultimate victory: €6.5 million

UEFA Super Cup participation: €4 million

TV and marketing rights: €34 million”

Of course, the most important thing after such a victory remains the sporting joy and, possibly, the prestige of achieving something significant in football history with a second consecutive Champions League title. However, these millions are not insignificant.

It’s a great reward and an extra weapon for the future, allowing them to fight hard to remain among the best. This is far from an easy task; we’ve seen clubs suffer a painful fall from grace. PSG mustn’t let up; we’ve already seen a determination for the future in their reactions after the match. Even so, they mustn’t forget to enjoy the moment.
