Paris Saint-Germain’s first-team squad is on vacation until August 4, having played in Sunday’s Club World Cup final against Chelsea (3-0 defeat), but some professional players are back at the PSG Campus to prepare for the season. These are the players on loan and waiting to leave, as Le Parisien reports: Milan Skriniar (30-year-old defender), Marco Asensio (29-year-old attacking midfielder), Carlos Soler (28-year-old midfielder), Nordi Mukiele (27-year-old defender) and Ilyes Housni (20-year-old striker). Randal Kolo Muani (26-year-old striker) and Renato Sanches (27-year-old midfielder) also played in the World Cup and will return at a later date.

Several PSG players have returned to Campus!

“Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Carlos Soler, Nordi Mukiele and Ilyes Housni all returned to the Poissy Campus (Yvelines) on Wednesday, after undergoing the traditional battery of medical tests prior to resuming training.

For the time being, they are training with the Espoirs squad, who have just undergone a coaching change with the confirmed appointment of former Lyon man Jean-François Vulliez (52). Randal Kolo Muani and Renato Sanches, who were also loaned out last season, will return to the squad at a later date.”

It’s logical, as the players who were on loan and finished the season much earlier can’t wait until August 4 to get ready. But the other players aren’t available. So, to avoid working alone, they at least have the Espoirs group. This means we can have collective sessions.

The idea is still clear for everyone: to find a way out as soon as possible. Skriniar and Asensio seem to be well on the way out, with both joining Fenerbahçe. It’s much less clear for the others, with the exception of Kolo Muani, who should be able to return to Juventus.
