Did everyone have to do more at the end when they were down to 10 men?
It’s great to win this match. I can’t remember any easy games here. Strasbourg is a team with a lot of young players and a lot of quality, and so is the coach. The first half was very difficult; we were imprecise, we didn’t play in their half. We improved after that, but it was tough. Even more so with 10 men. We’re happy; it’s an important victory. We need to improve, of course.
Did you need experienced players in the second half?
I think that when you have this type of match, you’re less precise than usual, it’s difficult to create chances and score goals. We tried to change that in the halftime talk, to have more confidence and more players in the box. I don’t know if we deserved the win, but it was important.

A superb performance from Lee, how do you always motivate the substitutes?
We’re very happy every time we have the opportunity to play difficult matches, it’s important to know that the level is there. Lee Kang-In is back in the squad, it’s important to have players ready to play even when they don’t start.
A growing strength within the squad?
It’s a very difficult league, even if everyone says it’s easy. Lens is winning a lot. It’s incredible, they deserve to be there. It will be tough, and Marseille and Lyon are also improving. It will be a difficult end to the season.
Will Safonov be the starter as long as he’s performing well?
I don’t know, it depends, on life, on performances. It’s great to have three goalkeepers of this caliber.
