This Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain (22nd) take on Stuttgart (24th) at the Mercedes-Benz Arena for Matchday 8 of the Champions League 2024-2025 league phase (kick-off 9pm CET, UTC+1). On the eve of the match, Le Parisien has put forward a likely Parisian team.

Barcola – Dembélé – Doué

Neves – Vitinha – Zaïre-Emery

Hernandez – Pacho – Marquinhos – Hakimi

Donnarumma.

We’re still cautious, as we’ve already seen enough of the media not receiving any particular indications from coach Luis Enrique. But this gives us a general idea of what we should expect at kick-off. Bearing in mind that some points could be very different.

Clearly, the coach will be trying to field a team that can deliver the best possible performance and come out on top. But it’s hard to know exactly what that means for this match, between fierce competition and a precise analysis of the opponent that only the staff and Luis Enrique know. We saw again recently, against Manchester City in particular, that he knows how to surprise. Let’s hope, in any case, that he has found the right formula.
