At the end of Paris Saint-Germain’s matches during May, as we now always do (based on the Player of the Month awards), we asked fans to vote for the “Player of the Month.” Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (25-year-old forward) won.
As a reminder, the matches in May were:
PSG/Lorient (2-2), Bayern/PSG (1-1), PSG/Brest (1-0), Lens/PSG (0-2), Paris FC/PSG (2-1), PSG/Arsenal (1-1).

A very well-deserved victory, and not entirely surprising given Kvaratskhelia’s invaluable contributions. However, other players also performed well. Warren Zaïre-Emery (20-year-old midfielder) and João Neves (21-year-old midfielder) certainly deserved to complete the podium. But the Georgian was “special,” consistently making decisive plays. And once again in the Champions League final, winning the equalizing penalty. All this while never forgetting his efforts for the team. A player we love in football.
Thank you for your votes, and we would like to point out that the podium finishes for these “Player of the Month” awards will count towards the Player of the Season award, as a player must have been on the podium at least once to be considered for nomination.
