The 2025 Ballon d’Or will be awarded on September 22 (find all the nominees here). This year, a new category has been added with a fan vote for the Golden Action. It notably features the goal that helped Paris Saint-Germain make it 3-0, scored by Désiré Doué (20-year-old midfielder/forward) in the Champions League final against Inter Milan.

Perhaps we’re being biased, but PSG’s goal seems to be a clear favorite here. Perhaps along with Inter Miami’s, for Lionel Messi’s superb pass (some even see this new feature as a way to reward him), as well as Spain’s.
As for Brazil, the finishing touch is very beautiful, except that the rest is nothing remarkable collectively. As for Real Madrid, everything isn’t as masterful as its competitors. There’s the beautiful dribble at the end, but we’re aware that the Golden Action is based on collective criteria. Moreover, the selection is almost disappointing for a year of football. Perhaps the sports newspaper put a little too much emphasis on the big names it wanted to highlight.
