Here’s our saga. The 5 good reasons to follow a match (with some adaptations). We’ll take a look at what’s attractive before each match, with a mix of seriousness and humor. Mind you, this is not an exhaustive tour of the subject. We continue here with Paris Saint-Germain’s match this Monday against the Seattle Sounders (11th) at Lumen Field as part of Matchday 3 of the group phase of the 2025 Club World Cup (kick-off 9pm CET, Seattle Sounders/PSG broadcast on DAZN).

5 – A team to discover.

That’s the advantage of this competition: you get to see teams you’re not used to. Or even teams you don’t know. It’s an opportunity to discover new players and perhaps a new way of playing. And there could be some surprises in store, even if we hope PSG come out on top.

4 – An expected reaction.

After their frustrating defeat by Botafogo (0-1), PSG need to rediscover the rhythm and precision of their game. They can’t always be perfect, but there’s bound to be a certain expectation surrounding the European champions. Especially as we’ve seen how quickly they can be caught out when they slacken off. The champions must therefore show a different face. That could lead to great things.
