Fabian Ruiz, Paris Saint-Germain’s 28-year-old midfielder, spoke to DAZN after the 0-1 win over Toulouse (video highlights Toulouse/PSG) this Saturday at the Stadium as part of Matchday 22 of Ligue 1 2024-2025. He talked about the difficulties, control, his form and Senny Mayulu (18-year-old midfielder).
Ruiz: “We got the result we wanted, that’s the most important thing.
A complicated match, but you controlled it well ?
We knew they were going to be a difficult team. They were very tight at the back. We tried to get through on the flanks, but it was difficult. On the other hand, we knew it was important to win today and that it would be difficult. We wanted to keep possession of the ball, we had chances and we got the result we wanted, which is the most important thing.
How are you feeling ?
It’s true that I’ve been able to play at the back a bit more recently. And sometimes I play a bit more upwind, but I like to see the ball, to be important and no matter where I play I’m happy. What I want is to keep playing and give it my all.

Do you bring a lot to Mayulu ?
Yes, he’s a very good player. He’s going to give a lot to PSG and when he really plays he’s incredible.
