Let’s face it, there’s rarely extra time in Champions League knockout matches. It can happen, but it’s true that it lengthens matches and seasons that are already full.
After that, this change could be resented by fans of soccer and of the queen of European competitions. We’ll see whether it’s implemented quickly or not. Whatever happens, UEFA is making its revolution.
