Gianluigi Donnarumma, the 26-year-old goalkeeper who joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2021 with a contract until 2026 (following the end of his contract at AC Milan), is at the heart of the rumors. His extension is not forthcoming and there is talk of a departure, with Lucas Chevalier (23, Lille and French national team) to replace him. Sky Sports reported this Thursday that Manchester United are interested, while the Italian is in no rush to leave PSG.
This is a new indication of English interest, as well as the possibility of Donnarumma and Chevalier cohabiting. There may be some truth to it. Except that it’s also far too little to be certain.
