It’s easy to believe that Barcola is one of Liverpool’s ideas to strengthen their attack. He’s a talented forward who knows how to make an impact (even if he still needs to improve his finishing) and is clearly on the rise. That’s precisely why PSG aren’t expected to open the door so easily.
A key point for any potential transfer — which still seems quite distant. There is no offer at this stage, let alone an agreement. Especially since the asking price would likely be very high, reportedly starting at €100 million.
A transfer request from Barcola could change things, but nothing suggests that’s the case. In fact, a contract extension seems more likely for a player who appears happy and important in Paris.
