Having arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in 2023 from Benfica, 24-year-old striker Gonçalo Ramos experienced a difficult period of adaptation, hampered by a long illness and then an injury during the first half of the 2024-2025 season. While he has improved since then, he hasn’t fully established himself, and rumors of his departure persist. Calciomercato reported this Friday that Juventus remains interested, in addition to Randal Kolo Muani (27), who is currently on loan at Tottenham. A permanent transfer to Juve fell through last summer following his successful six-month loan spell.
Kolo Muani remains “the favorite.”
“The Continassa management’s preferred option remains Kolo Muani, as the Frenchman’s return (currently on loan at Tottenham) is unlikely in January.”
At Paris Saint-Germain, another player to watch is Gonçalo Ramos, who continues to see limited playing time under Luis Enrique (he remained on the bench last night in the Champions League against Chelsea) and could leave Paris this summer in search of more regular playing time.
According to Calciomercato.it, a player with similar characteristics to Ramos would appeal to Spalletti and would complement the attack alongside Vlahovic, should the Serbian extend his contract. Castro, Gonzalo Garcia, and Pellegrino are also on Juventus’s list of attacking players.
It’s not impossible; Kolo Muani and Ramos have already been mentioned several times as targets for Juventus in recent months. They are top-level players, and the Italian club has attacking weaknesses. However, nothing is certain at this point; it’s all just rumors.
It’s worth remembering that nothing concrete materialized for Ramos’ transfer to the Italian club, just as a deal for Kolo Muani proved impossible last summer. There’s no guarantee it will be any easier this time. Even though there might be some hope, given that the international seemed ready to stay. That would be good news, as it would be surprising to see him remain at a club battling relegation from the Premier League.
There are also other clubs linked with Juventus, so nothing is certain. We’ll wait to find out more. And let’s not forget that Ramos isn’t currently on the verge of leaving PSG, even if some media outlets are suggesting it.
