Juventus are working on bringing him back, but—just as last summer—reaching an agreement is proving very difficult. On Friday, Tuttosport and Sport Mediaset reported on the new offer and the progress of negotiations.

Luis Campos is standing his ground—a stance Juventus considers unreasonable. That is not the only hurdle: PSG is also demanding a percentage of the forward’s future resale value be included in the transfer agreement. Juventus is not opposed to this in principle, but the figures do not yet align. Frédéric Massara, who has taken charge of the file, is working on all these points and is in daily contact with Campos.
This diplomatic effort and fine-tuning appear to be paying off; cautious optimism is emerging that a deal can be finalized within the required timeframe—specifically, before Kolo departs for the Asian tour scheduled for early August.
As for Kolo, he is eager to return to Turin, where he was well-received and appreciated—both professionally and personally—to the point that the Bianconeri have already agreed to his return. It is no coincidence that his camp has turned down all other offers received so far—particularly those from the Bundesliga—while waiting for Juventus and PSG to reach an agreement on the transfer.
Sport Mediaset:
On one hand, PSG is holding up the transfer and continues to demand €50 million; on the other, Juventus is unwilling to make concessions to the two-time Champions League winners—or at least, not to that extent. However, Carnevali and Massara appear to be making progress, reportedly reaching a ceiling (possibly insurmountable) of €40 million, though the specific structure of the deal remains to be defined.
The saga drags on, lacking any concrete developments to inspire real confidence. For now, Kolo Muani remains stuck at PSG, and the move to Juventus might never happen. Media reports continue to mention potential offers—possibly involving various bonuses or clauses—in an attempt to bridge the gap toward an agreement. Yet, there is no deal in sight, and the situation remains unclear. With the stalemate from last summer still in mind, there is a sense of caution.
It is never a good sign when a transfer saga drags on this long without any concrete progress. An agreement is not impossible, of course, but there is a distinct feeling that Juventus lacks the funds and Paris is unwilling to lower the price for the French international. We shall see; a pleasant surprise could still be in store. However, it seems more likely that Kolo Muani will ultimately sign with a different club.
