Randal Kolo Muani, the 27-year-old French national team forward who was struggling at Paris Saint-Germain (under contract until 2028), was loaned to Tottenham for the 2025-2026 season without an option to buy after a deal with Juventus (where he had been on loan from January to June 2026) fell through. His future is now uncertain, though the Italian club is reportedly working on his transfer again. The Italian press reports this Wednesday that negotiations are progressing well, with an agreement expected soon.
Tuttosport:
“This time, Juventus wasted no time, officially declaring yesterday morning their desire to bring the French forward back to Turin with a €33 million offer. While the initial attempt failed due to PSG’s flat refusal—as they are holding out for at least €40 million—it is clear that both clubs are now determined to finalize the deal as quickly as possible.
The gap between the offer and the asking price is just €7 million. An agreement is therefore likely to be reached at an intermediate figure, between €36 and €37 million. The structure of the deal is taking shape: PSG appears willing to consider a loan with an option to buy (likely triggered by Champions League qualification next season).
Nothing is insurmountable, given that the Bianconeri can count on the player’s strong desire to move; he has openly told the club that he is unwilling to accept any destination other than Juventus, with whom he has already agreed on a five-year contract worth €5 million per season.”
Gazzetta dello Sport:

“Juventus has increased its offer for Kolo Muani!
Negotiations are ongoing to reach an agreement before the training camp at Continassa on July 13.
In Paris, they want to ensure that the former Tottenham player’s departure is permanent this time around.

It is plausible, but still not certain. We cannot forget that these same newspapers were very optimistic just a few days ago, reporting that negotiations were well advanced, whereas Juventus spoke only of resuming talks following changes in management. Nothing is certain yet regarding Kolo Muani’s future.
An agreement is possible, just like last summer. However, there is also a risk of another deadlock. We will wait for certainty; we have already seen too many twists and turns in this saga. We hope for a resolution soon, as it is high time for everyone to finally move on.
