Paris Saint-Germain reportedly has an ambitious new idea for its transfer window. In a video broadcast by L’Équipe du Soir, it is explained that the Parisian club has set its sights on recruiting Michael Olise, 24, a right winger from Bayern Munich.
Extreme caution is necessary in this matter. At this stage, there is no question of an advanced transfer, much less an agreement between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich. The information mainly suggests an interest from PSG, or a lead being explored, which remains very different from concrete negotiations.
On paper, the sporting interest is obvious. Michael Olise possesses a technical and creative profile that is compatible with Luis Enrique’s style of play. But Bayern has no easy reason to let go of such an important player, under a long-term contract and already highly valued. For PSG, the idea is appealing. As far as the transfer market is concerned, it remains far from being a hot topic.
