Morgan Rogers, the 23-year-old attacking midfielder/winger for Aston Villa (contract until 2031) and England, has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2026. TalkSPORT reported on Friday that PSG are indeed interested and that the Englishman is open to the idea.
“Rogers hasn’t ruled out leaving England and admires PSG’s coach, Luis Enrique.”
Paris Saint-Germain have joined Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea as the most genuine suitors for the 23-year-old.
Sources have told talkSPORT Rogers is not ruling out a move away from England and is an admirer of PSG coach Luis Enrique.
PSG are still deciding whether to proceed this summer with a new winger or No.10 given Desire Doue and Kvicha Kvaratskhelia are not for sale, and Bradley Barcola is also a player the French champions intend to keep.
€92 million minimum for Rogers
PSG could instead be tempted to prioritise a striker, but Rogers is a player they are tracking strongly as well.
Rogers is likely to be available this summer for at least £80m, and that number could rise if a bidding war materialises for his signature.”
Nothing is impossible, but we must remain cautious as long as these are just rumors. The price has dropped since the €115 million of the last reported figure in this saga, and it’s mentioned here that Rogers might be tempted by PSG. That’s interesting, but still too little to be certain.
Paris may have other priorities, just like the player. There are other clubs in the running; they’re possibly not the only ones. Also, even if the media glosses over it as if it were a minor detail, Rogers doesn’t necessarily fit the profile that seems most important for recruitment in this summer’s transfer window. That said, it’s not impossible either. Let’s wait and see.
