Zion Suzuki, the 23-year-old Japan and Parma goalkeeper (under contract until 2029), has recently been linked to a move to Paris Saint-Germain, potentially followed immediately by a loan deal. La Stampa (cited by journalist Guillaume Pacini) reported this Monday that the transfer to PSG is a done deal. However, the proposed loan to Juventus remains uncertain.
La Stampa confirms the definitive agreement between PSG and Parma for Suzuki: a €35m transfer. Talks are underway regarding a potential loan with Juventus, who have also inquired about Risser, though Lens is demanding €35m. For Trubin, Benfica is asking for between €25m and €30m. It therefore appears to be a two-horse race: Suzuki or Vicario.
The story is credible—or at least aligns with the trend of the last few hours. Many media outlets agree that Parma and PSG have more or less reached an agreement on Suzuki’s transfer. It is the second aspect—the loan—that is more in doubt. The Japanese international is reportedly not entirely convinced, while Paris might instead opt to move Lucas Chevalier (24) on. That has been the most logical scenario from the start.
Incidentally, the Italian newspaper is not the first to mention other options for Juventus. Yet, nothing is certain for the moment, as there is not a single concrete detail regarding this matter. We continue to wait—cautiously—hoping that one of the clubs will speak up soon. Or Suzuki himself, who inevitably has a say in the matter.
