The 2026 summer transfer window is here, and rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are swirling. This time, it’s journalist Gianluca Di Marzio who claims that PSG is interested in Ferran Torres, the 26-year-old forward for FC Barcelona (contract until 2027) and the Spanish national team.
“Paris Saint-Germain is considering signing Ferran Torres if they need attacking reinforcements. With a departure from FC Barcelona a possibility, the Parisian club has identified the Spanish forward with keen interest. His contract with Barça runs until 2027. Ferran has already played under Luis Enrique for the Spanish national team.”
It’s not impossible; Ferran Torres is a talented and versatile player whom Luis Enrique already knows very well. There’s also a contract situation that could allow PSG to try and seize an opportunity. However, nothing is certain either. It’s just a rumor. There are already many rumors circulating about PSG’s transfer window, without any confirmation whatsoever.
So we remain very cautious. Not to mention that negotiations between Barça and PSG are always complicated, with a certain rivalry that has developed. Nothing suggests that Ferran Torres is close to joining Paris at the moment. Although it’s not an impossible possibility.
