The 2026 summer transfer window is already being prepared by clubs, and rumors surrounding Paris Saint-Germain are piling up. This time, it’s PSG Inside Actus that claims PSG is interested in Eduardo Conceição, the 16-year-old Brazilian striker under contract with Palmeiras until 2029.
“The Parisian club’s interest in Eduardo was brought to their attention last week.”
“Paris Saint-Germain is the latest club to show interest in Eduardo Conceição, a 16-year-old prodigy from Palmeiras’ youth academy, whose release clause is set at €100 million (625 million reais).
The Parisian club’s interest was brought to Eduardo’s attention last week by an agent close to PSG’s management.” It is expected that, in the future, the Parisian club will be one of the contenders to sign the young talent.
Intense competition.
On the 15th, ESPN reported that Arsenal had been monitoring Eduardo’s career for at least two years. However, the list of interested clubs also includes clubs like Barcelona, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, and Newcastle. Palmeiras owns 80% of the player’s economic rights, with the player retaining the remaining 20%.
Nothing is impossible. Eduardo Conceição, often simply called Eduardo, is considered a tremendous Brazilian talent. He regularly impresses at youth level thanks to his extraordinary technical ability. He has the potential to interest major clubs, before potentially signing with a rival and becoming very difficult to sign. It already seems like a complicated situation, with a very high release clause and a long list of interested clubs.
However, nothing is certain. It’s just a rumor. There’s no guarantee that PSG, or any other clubs, will actually make a move. They always keep an eye on new talent, but offers are less frequent. It might be a situation worth watching, but we’ve seen other players appear in the Parisian transfer window (and those of other major European clubs) only to leave without any confirmed negotiations.
