Oumar Camara, a 17-year-old winger trained at Paris Saint-Germain, has reached the end of his aspirant contract this summer, and we’re waiting to hear whether he’ll sign his first professional contract. He was recently rumored to be heading for Celtic Glasgow, but numerous media reports on Tuesday claim that he is headed for Vitoria Guimaraes instead.

RMC Sport :
“Oumar Camara (17), PSG’s young winger, is finally heading for Portugal and Vitória Guimaraes to sign his first pro contract.
4-year contract. Medical examination
The young striker was initially due to sign for Glasgow Rangers. But the arrival of a new sporting director at the Scottish club, Kevin Thelwell, changed all that.”
It would be surprising if all these journalists agreed at the same time about nothing, so we can assume that Camara will indeed start out as a professional in Portugal. An interesting choice, with a country that has seen many talents grow up. What’s more, it’s with a rather interesting team (6th this season), while possibly getting some playing time.
That’s what we’d like to see for Camara, who we’d have liked to see grow up with PSG but who may have feared he’d run out of space. It’s up to the youngster to work hard and seize his opportunities.
