In a project that is still a bit unclear, the Paris Saint-Germain women’s team could soon register the recruitment of a young talent from the United States. This is midfielder Olivia Winter, currently at Loyola Marymount University. She is on trial according to the very reliable IRP and we see her name appearing in the squad for the friendly match against Lens.
“Olivia Winter, an American midfielder who trained at Kansas and then LMU, is currently on trial with PSG Féminin. One to watch…”
This is a reliable media outlet, and this wouldn’t be the first somewhat “surprising” recruitment for PSG, which is clearly trying to expand its squad with young talents to help them grow. Which is understandable. Even if we’re also waiting for the arrival of senior players to pull the squad up and show that Paris isn’t just a springboard to other clubs, especially Lyon. Something we’ve seen too much of in recent years. We’re now waiting to see if Winter will sign for PSG, but his presence in the squad shows that there is at least some mutual interest.
