Bradley Barcola, the 22-year-old striker recruited by Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 with a contract running until June 2028, has taken some time to establish himself in Luis Enrique’s team. His rise to prominence has attracted a great deal of interest. In fact, he has been mentioned in the sights of Bayern Munich. According to Bild, there has been contact with his entourage. However, the chances of this coming to fruition are slim.
“New contacts have been made between Barcola’s representatives and PSG.
Almost impossible, as the European champions are not selling, but Eberl insists.”
A credible announcement, since Bayern may have made inquiries in order to launch a possible bid. You have to try to have a chance. And perhaps Barcola’s representatives haven’t completely closed the door. Particularly when it comes to a possible contract extension, a point that could be useful in a negotiation.
But there’s nothing to suggest that the player is keen to leave, or that PSG would be open to an offer. For the moment, a transfer seems highly unlikely. Not totally impossible, as the mercato knows how to surprise. Even so, we’re still a long way from the idea of a departure, with other dossiers that seem more interesting to follow in this mercato.
