While L’Equipe reported that the President of Paris Saint-Germain had told the club’s employees that end-of-season bonuses would be shared between all parties, Ici Paris île de France (formerly France Bleu Paris) has confirmed that the players and the club’s 750 employees will indeed share the end-of-season bonuses.
“Confirmation of L’Equipe’s information: PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi announced this afternoon during his greetings to staff that end-of-season bonuses will be shared between players and the club’s 750 employees.”
Nasser Al-Khelaïfi can be accused of many things. He’s clever, perfectly aware of what he’s doing, and inevitably, you can sometimes feel manipulated by the world of soccer. But just because it’s opportunistic doesn’t mean it’s not sincere or sensible.
The club wants to work as a team, and we’ve been feeling a positive energy for months now, more like a family.
