In recent years, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, Chairman of Paris Saint-Germain, has been involved in a number of legal cases. One of these was a complaint from a former assistant to his beIN SPORTS chairman, Madame Amina Tajaddine, alleging unlawful dismissal and moral harassment. But RMC Sport reports this Friday that the court has dismissed these charges. There is, however, a nice sum paid for overtime.
“Accusations rejected by the courts today. The industrial tribunal has rejected the claims made by Amina Tajaddine, former assistant to Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, who was dismissed on February 12, 2022.
The industrial tribunal today delivered its verdict, announcing that the beIN Sports group had “validly dismissed” Ms. Tajaddine, and that the accusations of moral harassment were inadmissible.
The media company will nevertheless have to pay the sum of 290,000 euros in overtime accumulated since she took up her post. The plaintiff had claimed a sum of one million euros.”
As always, we’re cautious when it comes to legal matters, and we remember calling for patience at the time of the accusations. These were dismissed, with Nasser Al-Khelaïfi again emerging victorious in the face of an attack. Which is becoming quite usual.
Still, there’s the overtime to pay, which was probably not the responsibility of the PSG president and the sports group. In any case, it’s good to see a case come to an end without Nasser Al-Khelaïfi being condemned.
